We are a micro enterprise run by local people for local people. We have over 15 years experience working in the voluntary sector in Nottinghamshire with vulnerable adults of all ages and recently decided to start an independent service to enable disabled and elderly people remain independent in their own homes. We offer a variety of non personal care services, including cleaning, laundry and ironing, gardening, shopping and a befriending service to accompany people to social activities such as lunch clubs, coffee mornings, etc. We also offer a sitting service to enable carers to have some time for themselves and know their friends or relatives are not alone and can make light lunches, drinks and chat with them to keep them company. Our services cost £10 for one hour and £18 for 2 hours. Staff are CRB checked and have to provide references. We have all necessary insurances and can provide references from existing service users, on request. We are not an introductory agency for workers, but staff are employed directly by us. You will have the same worker each time, unless they are on annual leave or sick leave.
